Geocache Description:

This is a long awaited bike path series...I have been asked by several cachers why I haven't done one here...well here it is!

Andy and I finally got the time to start on the bike path. These will get you to the Yankee Hill Lock Store on the Erie Canalway. From there you can begin the 2016 Summer State Park Challenge. The plan is to have this series of caches continue both on the tow path and bike path down to the Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site (SXSHS).

You will need to bring a pen/pencil for all of these in the series. And be prepared for bugs and ticks. Most are small bison tubes with a few different ones thrown in for the fun.

Please note – if you are looking at the map and thinking you can include the cache named “Ground Hog Day”(GC459CG) know that it is not accessible from the Bike Path.
