An impromtu cache, inspired by there being only one other physical cache on Maria Island. If you don't have your own boat then you will need to access the island via the ferry from Triabunna. There are no shops or vehicles on the island and the only way to access this cache is on foot (several hours each way), or by mountain bike (1+ hours each way) from the ferry terminal at Darlington.
Due to the spontaneous placing of this cache we had to raid our St John first aid kit for the note pad, pencil and zip-lock bags. When we return we will upgrade it to a proper container.
