At this preserve, located in the heart of Panama City, you will hunt for one of five geocaches that will lead you on a “geocache trail." As you travel to each of the five preserves- which can be found at baycountyconservancy.org or under a search at geocaching.com containing "BayCountyConservancy"- you will find a different stamp and colored inkpad, which you may use to stamp the back of one of the informational bookmarks included in the cache. Sign the log, stamp your bookmark, leave something if you like, and then continue on to another cache.
This cache is located in the beautiful Audubon Nature Preserve, located behind the Walmart on 23rd St, Panama City, FL.
*This preserve is only available to the public during daylight hours*
Nestled into the heart of the city, ANP is a beautiful place to relax, enjoy lunch, or observe local wildlife. There is a boardwalk, a lovely gazebo, and two nature trails available to the public.
Please come out and enjoy the space, and good luck finding the cache!
This is a medium-traffic area, so beware of muggles! While the preserve is open to visitors of all ages, please be mindful of native wildlife and vegetation.
