This cache is located along the North Umpqua trail between Toketee Lake and the Umpqua Hot Springs. Parking is available at the group site at the south end of Toketee Lake campground. The trail is rated “easy”, but it does have some short, but bit steep elevation changes and is quite narrow in places. As in all hikes…carry snacks & water…let someone know where you are going…be prepared.
Some are afraid of being bit...some shriek in alarm...some pick them up and toss them in the toilet...some ignore them.
