Y.M.C.A. Is Song Title Series #64 by the Village People. This American Disco group released the song in November 1978. It reached #2 on the U.S. Charts in 1979 and reached #1 in the U.K. This was the groups biggest hit. The single sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

In 2009, "Y.M.C.A." was entered into the Guiness World Book of Records when over 44,000 danced to the Village People sang it live during the 2008 Sun Bowl in El Paso, TX. The song also reached #7 on VH1's List of 100 Greatest Songs of the 20th Century!
