Kincorth Hill is on the south side of the City to the south of Kincorth and is locally known as "The Grumps". There are access points from the car parks at Abbotswells Crescent (eastern side of reserve) and Nigg Way (west side) and from various points along the edge of the housing estate. A series of paths running across the hillside through area of coniferous & deciduous woodland, grassland, scrub, heath and past a pond. Good for birdwatching, nature watching and dog walking with areas to stop have a seat and enjoy the views across the city.
Whilst walking the paths, children can keep an eye out for a series of small bronze plaques which represent many of the different animals and trees found on the hill. There are also some swings up here which we didn't know about until we placed the cache - see waypoint.
Wee Imp chose this area to hide the cache because she says other children her age would like to play here. I had to put it in place though - she says it's a cunning wee placie to hide a cache!
Wee Imp and Hangovermonkey look forward to reading your logs! :)
