One way to enter the historic village of Hurley, NY has been by crossing, what locals have referred to as, the "green bridge, " which crosses the Esopus Creek. If you were familiar with the green bridge and haven't yet seen it's replacement, you'll definitely want to visit this cache for a great view of the new one! It isn't green any more. The purpose of this cache is to help keep memories of the old bridge alive. Hurley is a beautiful little village, and there are lots of caches within easy striking distance of this one. Enjoy the area while you're here.
Parking is available at GZ, and muggles are generally not a problem.
