welcome to my portion of the County Line Trail. when I heard some friends where hiding caches out here I volunteered to help out and do a section of the trail. all of my hides will be within 15 feet of the trail surface, most even closer, and I will provide a hint telling you if it is on the north side or the south as the trail runs in a more or less east/west direction.
at this location you will be looking for a camo taped pill bottle, no room for a pen, and an extraction tool may be helpful.
now for the cache name. as I was hiding caches out the trail I had a number I was headed for, as eyewise was also hiding caching and heading toward that number as well. so when we met in the middle it wasn't quite "Promontory, Utah" where east met west and they drove the golden spike at the completion of the first Transcontinental Railroad. we had a big gap, it was not big enough to fit another cache in, and too big to just leave it. so I decided to squeeze some of my caches down the line to make room for that one more cache. I figured I'd have to move just one, maybe two, but I ended up having to move three. if you ask me I'll tell you it was all worth it, just to give you one more smilie. and for those of you who have already found all the caches on the trail and now have to come back, sorry, but we tried .
now some general information, this trail can be very busy, at times. when I placed this cache I had to wait several times to complete my hide, so try and watch for non-cachers. also please remember there is an ACTIVE train track near by when searching for this and any other cache on this trail. I have taken care to not hide in a dangerous area, but you should always keep an eye on the little ones on this trail.
