My first cache, placed in the stomping grounds where we raised our family in the 70s, 80s and 90s. BYOP.
Near its end, Ship Creek is just a short walk partly down the gravel road where one can access this lovely and once useful creek supplying water by flume in the 1860s to the Anderson Mill. It has a mining history and a cave, purportedly a remnant of an old mine shaft. Our kids used to go fishing in the creek, in fact this is where they caught their first trout. Congrats to figgy30 and ZUCS for their FTF - on my birthday!
