I have been to a couple of events on 16 Mile Pond, and thoroughly enjoyed each, so I thought I would host one of my own. I have waypointed the canoe/kayak put-in. Parking is available on South Service Road, however, please do not park within 50m of the bridge or you may get a ticket.
This will be a Flashmob event, or as thewhytes cleverly called it a few years ago, a "Splashmob". The event will be on Sunday May 15th , 2016 and will be from 12PM - 12:30PM. You will need to have some sort of water vessel to get to the posted coordinates. You are still welcome to attend the event if you don't have one, but feel free to post a note on the page as a fellow cacher may have some extra room in their canoe. Some yummies will be provided courtesy of tiggrrr (she won't know this until she reads the page), but feel free to bring some of your own to share!
For those who are interested, we will be caching after the event in the 16 Mile Pond, and also the 15 Mile Pond. As always, please bring your PFDs when out on the water.
