nathanjhunt: Sorry all (with biggest apologies to Gilly), but as I'm starting to tie up loose ends and move on, I shan't be replacing this cache. Thanks to the finders.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Maldon, Essex.

It certainly isn't a secret that Maldon used to have a railway running through it. There is plenty of evidence still left throughout the town providing a fabulous insight into the old history of the area. It was opened in 1889 by the Great Eastern Railway on a branch line from Woodham Ferrers. It was closed in 1916 during World War I but reopened as a halt in 1919. The station was permanently closed to passenger services in 1939 but the line remained in use for goods traffic until 1959.

The cache is placed very close to the old station, which is to the north east of GZ, in West Station Yard. Parking is available at the superstore close by, then a short walk along a footpath.

Important - you WILL need tweezers to extract the log. Grab and twist the paper out - don't worry, it won't rip.
