Useful Knots
While serving on a warship, there is lots of down-time. “The Wasters” tend to use it to stir up trouble. A good “seaman” (or sea-girl posing as a Ship’s Boy) uses it to find a Sea Dad willing to teach them the ropes, so-to-speak. Tying many knots is yet another skill that will come in handy the rest of her life.
