Geocache Description:

This cache is inspired by Enid Blyton's classic Famous Five Series of books about a group of clever children who find themselves caught up in exciting adventures wherever they go, encountering secret caves, hidden ruins and buried treasure, to name just a few.

Now, in their latest quest, they must seek out a Geocache,  an adventure where you have the opportunity to prove you possess the attributes required to be part of this elite group.

The cache is located in a suburban park adjacent to the appropriately named "Blyton Lane" and is the sort of place where The Famous Five would have loved to frolic and explore.

When the cache was placed it contained a log book, pencil and a series of mini Famous Five book covers representing their past adventures.

Enid Mary Blyton (11 August 1897 – 28 November 1968) brought the characters of Julian, Dick, Anne, George and Timmy to life in 21 wonderful stories between 1942 and 1963 which are still popular to this day and have inspired numerous TV series and additional books in the series written by other authors as a tribute to her unique talents.

To find this cache you will need the speed, stealth and cunning each of the five possessed and putting yourself in a childlike mindset will certainly help you determine the best way to locate the hidden bounty.

You will need to pick the right moment as there are busy tennis courts nearby but stealth is an essential attribute at all times due to the nearby houses overlooking the area.
