The Charlotte Harbor Preserve area has many waterways and dredged drainage routes that offer days of kayaking/canoeing. There are several other caches available from other members that you can find on your way to and from our caches.
While getting to our Original “Kache Kokopelli,” we have now placed a few additional Kokos down the waterways that you can travel to find the papa-cache. From that point, travel the other waterways to find additional caches.
We have launched from a few areas that are at the ends of roads that you can get into the water from. The closest we have found that is “proper” is from the Riviera Marina. So-you-know, this area is a bit… Old World in appearance, but they are real nice folks. They took a real hard hit from hurricane Charlie, and area has not been improved. The boat ramp usage fee has been five-dollars that you put in a slotted mailbox.
