The purpose: This an invitation to all geocachers living in or visiting the North East to meet for a convivial chat, swap caching stories and TBs and sample the best selection of real ales around. There are also a few caches within walking distance.
The time: 7pm to 9 pm or later, Tuesday 24 May 2016
The place: The Boat House, Wylam, NE41 8HR (you can’t miss it as it is next to the station at the south end of the bridge over the Tyne).
Getting there: There are regular trains from Newcastle and Hexham. For drivers there is a large free car park at the other end of the bridge and space for a few cars round the corner in Elm Bank Rd.
Traditionally this has been an outdoor event and so it will remain if weather conditions allow. If not there is a room on the left as you go through the door which we can pretty well take over.
