NM 368 is a unique scenic drive in Lincoln County, New Mexico. The road is paved for 17 miles from Tinnie to the uncorporated community of Arabela. After about mile marker 8, the views of Capitan Mountain are incredible, especially about mile marker 16. The views are particularly impressive in the morning light and at sunset. We chose to hide our cache relatively near mile marker 12. As a suggestion, we recommend you drive 5 more miles to Arabela for the best views of Capitan.
