The White Rabbit Traditional Cache

This is a cache inspired by the sad but true story of a white rabbit, which appeared suddenly in this area 5 years ago, in the spring of 2011. It had obviously been some family's pet. Likely someone got tired of looking after it, and it got dumped one night. The parents probably told the kids that the rabbit was happier now, living on a farm, in the country.

The white rabbit was often spotted in the neighbourhood during the weeks that followed. He would be nibbling on someone's lawn, or resting in the shade near the barn. He didn't seem to know how to dig a burrow. Being animal lovers, we tried to help him, but we could not catch him. He was fast! He survived longer than we thought he would, but disappeared in September, and presumably met his too-early demise. This sort of thing occurs often. In the past 6 months, we have seen two cats, two white mice, and a dog appear in this neighbourhood. You will be looking for a white rabbit. "Hoppy" caching!
