The walk path from Auvernier to Neuchatel is very nice in both summer and winter. In one hour you can reach Place Pury and admire the beautiful landscape that the lake has to offer. The beach in Auvernier is very popular and in summer you can stop by the beach to swim, have a bbq and play beachvolley:-)
