Geocache Description:

An easy multi cache located at Arnold Cemetery

The posted coordinates will take you to the grave of Lewis Arnold......Lewis Arnold opened the first tavern in the nearby village of Louisville and is generally recognized as the person that the village is named after.....somehow over the years the name of the village got changed from Lewisville to Louisville although the pronounciation is still that of Lewis......nowadays you hear it pronounced  by some people as Louieville(like the city in Kentucky) but any long time residents of the village will quickly tell you that this is not correct

Back in the early 1960's the road was rebuilt through the village and new name signs were erected.....on these new signs somehow the name was spelled incorrectly as Louiseville.....there was even a newspaper picture printed showing the mistake and making fun of how the name of the village had changed from male to female.

To find this cache you will have to get some information from Lewis Arnold's gravestone and insert it into the coordinates below to get the final location.

The 4 digit year that Lewis died minus 953 equals ABC.

Lewis Arnold age in years at death... multiply this number times 4 then add 6....equals DEF.

N 42 27.ABC W 082 07.DEF
