Anderson Road Redemption Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no response from the cache owner to my previous note, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Lots of farm fields in Alpena Michigan but there is one in particular on the south end of Anderson Rd. with a long rock wall and a big tree on the east end. Looks Like something out of a Robert Frost poem, where we were reminded of the Shawshank Redemption. We'd gone for a walk, and discovered this beautiful place. Promise me, Cacher, if you ever find yourself Geocaching on N. US-23, find that spot. In the crook of that tree you'll find a rock that has no earthly business in a Michigan hayfield. A piece of black (Imitation) volcanic glass. You'll find something buried under it we want you to find. Journey to the Cache is a short amount of steps, be prepared for some saplings and mildly uneven ground to be in your way. Also beware of some barbed wire in the area, not in the direct path of the Cache but it pays to be careful.
