Supported by the American Nurses Association, National Nurses Day (May 6th) and National Nurses Week (May 6th – 12th) celebrates nurses and their role in society. The week also helps to raise awareness about nursing as a possible career choice and also to educate the public about the kind of work nurses are involved in.
My wife has been a nurse for over 37 years and a majority of that has been a NICU nurse. I am placing this cache to bring awareness to and recognize the important work that she and other NICU nurses perform in caring for premature newborn infants.
