The cougar, also commonly known as the mountain lion, puma, panther, or catamount, is a large felid of the subfamily Felinae native to the Americas. 
 

Scientific name: Puma concolor
Height: 2 – 3 ft. (Adult, At Shoulder)
Conservation status: Least Concern (Population decreasing)
Lifespan: 8 – 13 years (In the wild)
Mass: Male: 120 – 220 lbs (Adult), Female: 64 – 140 lbs (Adult)
