This cache is in Eagle Point Park in Rowan County, NC . The name of the cache is in honor or my geocaching buddy upon finding his 1000th cache earlier this year. The trails are very level and little elevation change. You will need good water resistance shoes, especially after a rain as the trails can be very damp after rain. This park is only open from 8 am till 7pm on Friday through Sundays and is closed during the week.
This cache is about 3/4 of a mile from the parking area. The cache is a silver and red bison tube . Do not try to remove the top of the container from the tree. The cache is about eye level and about 10 feet off the hiking trail. Now that the leaves are out it will be tough to spot but don' t give up. I tried to make it as easy as possible. Good hunting.
