Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the far corner of I.H. Managerial Park.  It's quite a hike, so be prepared to get some exercise.  The cache located off of the Red Trail.  Enjoy the surrounding nature and be prepared to see some wildlife.  The cache itself should be accessible to anyone and won't require tools.  But please place it back where it was so that it can be enjoyed by the next geocacher.

Legend has it that long ago, a woodsman lived in what is now the I.H Managerial Park.  One day some mischievous children were playing in the woods and came across the camp of the woodsman.  One of the boys dared his friend to sneak up and steal a log from the wood pile.  As the boy snuck up to take the wood, he didn't realize that the woodsman was already aware of their presence.  The boy ran toward the trail but ended up running into the woodsman.  All his friends heard was a blood curdling scream.  They ran as fast as they could down the trail and made their way home.  Later when the townsfolk went looking for the boy, all they found was the log of the woodsman on the ground by the trail.  No one dared to touch it.  To this day the log remains.  So if you happen to find the log, don't dare remove it, or you might have an encounter with the woodsman.
