A quick and easy field puzzle.
South Cañon Hall was dedicated in 1938. It was a project of the National Youth Administration (NYA), a Roosevelt era New Deal agency that focused on providing work and education for Americans between the ages of 16 and 25. Up until about 20 years ago this building was still in use and hosted many dances, wedding receptions, plays, concerts and parties. I can remember going to several functions here in the 1970s and 1980s. A few years ago the city tried unsuccessfully to sell this property. Today it appears to be in a state of disrepair and only used as a storage facility.
If you have any memories or other information to add please feel free to post it in your log. I will update this description with the new information.
This is a quick and easy field puzzle designed to draw attention to this historic building.
