This morning I was with several hundred other folk at Tinui (See GC27B7A) where the first ever Anzac Service was held in 1916. It was very timely, being the 100th anniversary of that service which was held one year after the Gallipoli landings.
Once I got home it was time to go for a walk and drop some plastic off in a track nearby where many of us have been before. A short series of four Leprechaun's Anzac caches for your pleasure.
This one was going to be named Leprechaun's Anzac Mahoe, however once I had placed it with the sheet named etc, I then realised I was 137m from another cache! A quick move, new log sheet and placement inside the hairpin and up the bank then it was ready :)
Remember, all cachers carry a pen - you will need your own here today.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning
We will remember them.
