Thanks to Goblin, I was informed the map has been changed here is their log **************** The map that the clues to determine the final coordinates are based on has been changed. This cache stumped my girlfriend and I but we had a hunch that the map had been changed, and low and behold after some research we came across a map that provided coordinates to lead us to the correct location. The map that is currently displayed will yield coordinates that are way off, the correct numeric values for the locations required by the clues in the original cache are as follows. RRO - 18 SHE - 19 UNIVERSITY QUADRANGLE - 52. (The map that is up currently says RRO - 17 SHE - 18 AND QUADRANGLE - G15) Furthermore, for the second part of the second coordinate clue, the numbers for the residents halls are actually 26-36. That is 26,27,28 etc to 36. Using these values, you will find the correct final cache location. The cache is really nice, and it looks like IPNthewoods put a lot of thought and effort into making a really nice cache, campus works changed the map which was unforeseen. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
HISTORY OF ROCKY
When the first athletics teams took the field in the 1930s, they adopted the bulldog as the University’s mascot. Since then, the bulldog remains a symbol of UNC Asheville, embodying the strong and determined spirits of the students the University places not just on the field, but in the classroom, as well.
UNC Asheville began the live-mascot tradition in 1948 with Puck I, named after the character from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After Puck came Puck II, Chug-a-lug, and Winston. By the end of the 1980s, however, the tradition of the live mascot had fallen out of use.
In 2009 the University welcomed its newest live mascot, Rocky I.
Rocky I originally found his way to UNC Asheville from Alabama. Born on Sept. 12, 2006, Rocky was transferred from a canine rescue organization in Georgia. He made his official debut at the Homecoming 2009 men’s basketball game during halftime.
Rocky I loved attending UNC Asheville athletic events and interacting with everyone he met on campus. When not busy rooting for the Bulldogs, Rocky I enjoyed lazing around the Quad and seeing all the sights and sounds of campus.

The rescued white Victorian Bulldog came to campus after being adopted by alumni Alexis Johnson '97 and Ed Johnson '96, a math lecturer at UNC Asheville. They volunteered to be the mascot's keepers and trainers, and for the past seven years, Rocky has been on campus during those exact moments that school spirit was needed – orientations, homecomings, athletic games and commencements, just to name a few. Petting Rocky on the path to a first class or a first job has been a rite of passage for many students and graduates and is said to bring good luck. Now the UNC Asheville campus remembers Rocky in his passing.
He died during the last weekend of March, 2016 passing away peacefully.
