You may spot interesting wildlife around the route, including Exmoor Ponies, squirrels, cows and golfers. Please be considerate and give them a wide berth as these are timid animals.

At each WP there is a large obvious man-made item that you need to read and fill in the blue squares in the file. There is no need to scrabble around hunting for cache containers, or poke your hands into spider webs feeling for nano caches.
The clues have been set so that you have a choice of car parks as your starting point.
If starting at Four Oaks Gate or Hartopp Gate, then begin at the above coordinates (WP1)
There is parking for about 8 cars just inside Four Oaks Gate, many more near Hartopp Gate.
If you choose to start at Streetly Gate, there is plenty of parking. Drive into the park as far as you can, then start at WP5. I would recommend this for families - You can return to WP5 on completion of the loop and have an ice cream or coffee while you decode the final part of the puzzle.
If you choose to start at Boldmere Gate, do not use the first car park you come to. Continue over the cattle grid and up the hill to the top car park (by the model airplane flyers), then start at WP8.
If you choose to start at Banners Gate, also start at WP8.
If you choose to start at Town Gate, you've not given this much thought have you!
Note: There is a charge for parking in the park on Sundays and Bank Holidays

FTF honours go to Banjo55 , with a close second going to One last look . This is my first geocache and it took some effort and changes to get it listed, so it's rewarding to know that you enjoyed it and the clues all worked!
