Rattler Viewpoint

When the original cache up here was archived I thought it would be nice to resurrect the cache.

This is a great viewpoint of the surrounding area. I had intended to place a new cache close to the old coordinates and found a great spot. When I grabbed a couple of rocks to cover the cache with I found the old cache. It was dry inside so I removed the used pages of the log book and recycled the cache. OpenStreetMap has the trail marked to get here. Of you don't have it on your GPS device follow the "Tumbleweed" trail north from the road/campground, left on "Rattler" and you will see a trail marker for the lookout a short way up. There is some deadfall across the viewpoint trail but I was able to carry my mountain bike over them.
