Geocache Description:

Come enjoy the beautiful trails at Elk Creek and help us pick up trash. Event starts at 9:00 am and ends at 11:00 am. There will be a few surprises in store for participants. There are over 15 geocaches at the Elk Creek Project for you to explore after the cleanup. The best part is, you don't have to lug your trash back, just leave it next to the trail and the Rangers will pick it up!

Learn the history of the US Army Corps of Engineers management of Elk Creek Project. This land is now being managed for wildlife habitat and sustainable public use. We would love your help to clean up trash that is polluting this beautiful area. Please bring work gloves and re-useable water bottles if you have them. Trash bags and a limited number of trash pickers will be provided. This event is sponsored by ACOE Park Rangers.
