Geocache Description:

The cache series is designed to take you on a journey through some of the history and eventual amalgamation of the St Leonards and Indented Head Fire Brigades.

This is a quick park and grab along the beautiful foreshore of St Leonards. Be warned- this is a very popular area for holiday makers during Summer (and is also in view of some of the permanent residents along the Esplanade) so stealth is definitely required!

The St Leonards Brigade was officially registered with CFA in 1943.

Around this time, knapsacks and beaters were kept at the St Leonards Hotel.  If a fire was to be reported, people would call the hotel and if their luck was in, would get a quick response from Brigade members who happened to be at the pub at the time of the call!

You are looking for a medium sized sistema container that has the fire brigade themed cache inside that is designed to stay with the container.  Please replace the camo that assists with the hide. **PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO THE THEMED CACHE ITEM - THE LOG IS INSIDE IT** Happy hunting!
