Go ahead and discover this abandoned house and its surroundings while you search for your cache. The cache is located in Koraal Partier, close to the area Sta Rosa and 20 minutes from down town. Nearby you will find the Aloe Vera Plantation, The Ostrich Farm and the St. Joris Bay, the local walhalla for wind- and kite surfers.
The land on which 'Housewarming' is situated is owned by a local family. Despite it is private property, people are allowed to enter the land and go to the bay. On select days (usually when special sporting events are happening), they might charge you a Nafl. 5,- entree free, however, most of the time, admission is free.
There shouldn't be too many muggles around. You might see some cars driving by as the cache is located next to a road that leads to the bay where people walk their dogs and kite surf.
Back in 2015, we placed a geocache in the Western part of the island, called 'Housewarming'. Unfortunately, after 43 logged visits, this geocache was removed due to restoration of the building. We were back on the island in April 2016 and decided to give this cache another shot at a different location. After some touring around the island, we found a suiting new spot for 'Housewarming'. The cache will be maintained by our daughter who lives on the island. We're hoping to be back on Curaçao soon to complete some more caches and to see how this cache is doing.

A few tips:
- BYOP! Pens dry out fast here, so make sure to bring a pen to sign the log.
- Make sure you don't leave valuables in the car while you're out searching.
- You can walk to the cache on your flip-flops, but watch out for thorns.
- Don't forget to wear sunscreen.
- You might want to bring some water with you.
