Geocache Description:

The Common Gallinule (Gallinula galeata), has long toes that makes it possible to walk on soft mud and floating vegetation. The toes have no lobes or webbing to help in swimming, but is a good swimmer none the less. It is the most widely distributed member of the rail family, inhabiting marshes and ponds from Canada to Chile, from northern Europe to southern Africa, and across Asia to the Pacific. It is dark, with a white flank stripe, red bill, and forehead and was formerly called the Common Moorhen. I saw one once right in front of the viewing platform, about 10 feet away.

The cache is a large camouflaged pill bottle with a log and some trade items. There is a pathtag for an FTF prize. Please bring your own scribing tool. There is plenty of parking along the shoulder of the road.
