Geocache Description:

A pleasent, shady trail from under Stoney Bridge to the Woods Home on the south side of Bowness Park....Enjoy the walk and the birds.

PLEASE take note of where you find the cache AS you find it and before you sign the log in your euphoric state since this cache manages to gradually wander from it's true home!

Tucked away on the south side of Bowness park is a little shady trail that follows the bottom of a steep hillside until it climbs up to the Wood's home and leads into the NW corner of Bowness.  We recently enjoyed a steady stream of FTFs in the Bowness (thanks stormcrow50 for your efforts), so this is for all the cachers who have followed us to those caches. The trail is often quiet except for the chatter and chirps of the birds.  We remember watching a Great Horned Owl on one of our trips along this trail.  It can be wet and muddy in the spring or after rain, and the snow might linger in the spring. With a little exploration, it can make for a great little loop. And yes, GPS signal might be a little fickle, but that's part of the challenge, right ? The cache is a few m N of the trail through some light undergrowth.

The cache is a camoed micro, so bring your own pen and tweezers may be helpful. Please pay attention to it's location so that you can replace it carefully to preserve the challenge.
