This cache is to celebrate the written word. I think we can all agree opening a cache and finding something inside is an exciting moment.
I have started this cache off by leaving one of my favourite books in the cache. For the next cacher who comes along; you're more than welcome to have a look at it, and have a read, BUT I ask that you only take the book if you leave another in its place. If you take the book without replacing it, that breaks the chain and then people won't have a chance to share stories. If you do not have a book on you but would still like to take part, I recommend coming back another day armed with a favourite book of yours.
While this is a relatively large cache, it will not take a hardback book, or anything more than maybe 300 pages. I also ask that books left behind are in English, as while your favourite book may be in French, it would be no fun for the next person who may not read a word of French.
When you have placed your book in the cache please take care to write your name, the date and which book you have left in the logbook. Please wrap the book and logbook up in the plastic bags provided before putting the cache back where you found it.
Please note that it is not compulsory to place a book in the cache to log this cache. If you do not have a book, or do not wish to leave a book, use this as you would any other cache; just log it on the app as found and write your name in the logbook.
Long trousers recommended due to nettles and brambles.

Inosculation
Inosculation is the growing together of two or more branches to form one joint branch. It can be seen in nature where branches grow close to one another and continue to grow until they are touching, and as the branches move against each other, due to the wind, the bark between them wears away until the two cores touch and then they begin to fuse. At this moment they continue to grow, but as one branch.
