We chose this location for our first hide because we never noticed this local bridge until it was reconstructed in the Summer of 2015. We took our inspiration for the hiding spot itself from the story of the Billy Goats Gruff. If you recall the tale, the three goats faced off against a troll who did not want them to cross his bridge.
Waypoint is the parking lot for the Kinnelon Firemen's Hall, which is the easist approach -- We don't recommend using the shoulder near the cache due to traffic and muggle eyes!
As this is our first hide, please provide any feedback if we rated the terrain, difficulty, or size incorrectly. The terrain rating has been changed to 2.5 based on early feedback about some challenging footing accessing the cache (not the general path/approach).

UPDATE: The original container disappeared, probably for the best, given all the challenges we had keeping it securely in place. So, there is now a new smaller container, and the size listing has been updated to reflect this. It should be able to stay in place without issue now, but there is only room for the log and a small pencil, so I'd suggest folks BYOP as a back-up. Happy caching!
