A series of six caches all of which can be done as stand alone caches. It is a walk around Pendeen and Lower Boscaswell. The walk will take you along footpaths across fields and onto the coastal footpath which is an area of SSSI and is part of the historic tin mining which was the lifes blood of the area for many years. There are many buildings and and ruins that have been restored by the National Trust and others to show how hard tin mining was for those who worked in the industry. A visit to Geevor Tin Mine Museum and Levant Mine is recommended if you wish to find out more about this arduous and dangerous job.
The walk will take around an hour depending on how long you stop to take in the breathtaking views along the way. It is suitable for children and dogs but due to the stiles along the way it is unsuitable for buggies and pushchairs.
This cache is not in the wall. Please close all gates behind you. Keep dogs on a lead where there is live stock
