My wife just surprised me with a geocaching trip to San Antonio to celebrate my graduation from college. I've been to Texas, but not since I've been caching. I always try to attend events whenever I travel for caching, but there's no events on the books for the greater San Antonio area!
This will serve as a simple meet and greet, and will last thirty minutes from 7pm-7:30 pm at the posted coordinates.
This is the first night in town, so I'll be excited to meet local cachers and put faces to names. I'll also be looking for suggestions for caches to do while in town. I'll bring some trackables from Michigan with me, and will be happy to take a few back home with me. Otherwise, show up, sign the log, say hi, and, if you're hungry, grab a bite!

Thanks to all the SA area geocachers who have approached me with concerns over the original location of this event. As an outsider, I have no knowledge of the area whatsoever, so I appreciate the messages. I definitely do not want a poor experience for anyone, even at a 30 minute lame meet and greet. Due to the apparent sketchy part of town this event was to be held in, I've been advised to move the event. After speaking with several of you, I'm confident this new location will better suffice for a safe and enjoyable experience for all cachers.
