Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash at a lovely lay-by at a bridge on the Dalveen Pass

The A702 runs from St John's Town of Dalry to Edinburgh. This particular section of the A702, the Dalveen Pass, is by far the most spectactular part of the road. Running from Carronbridge near Thornhill to Elvanfoot, the Dalveen Pass rises to almost 350 metres above sea level taking in some spectacular upland glaciated scenery. The cache is located at the Lavern Bridge, where a waterfall is seen to flow down the hillside. A quick cache and dash here. Bison container. Please rehide well.
