Geocache Description:

"Pine Island Bayou" by The Gourds

My poor uncle jimmy turk
He got his house full of water and dirt
In that flood of '94 pine island bayou
Came thru his door
In that flood of '94
That devil rain began t'poor

Okay, it's not a marsh or a bog, but...

Pine Island is one of the oldest historic cemeteries in Norwalk and the final resting place for several early American dignitaries including James Lockwood and other original members of Connecticut's congress. It is located behind Lockwood–Mathews Mansion, near the Stepping Stones museum, next to Devon's Park (and across the street from train tracks, recycling/transfer station and in the shadow of I95...).

You're looking for a small container only big enough to hold the log. Please close the container tightly and return exactly as found. BYOP!

The cemetery closes at dusk and as always, please be respectful of your surroundings while caching.

You can get to the cemetery directly, but it is only a short walk from Seashell Park and two other caches "Allison" and "When I Go Out With Artists," so there's an opportunity to make three grabs in one stop!

Congratulations to campfire on the FTF the first rainy morning after it was published!
