This area was once a work camp for the workers who built Carpenter Dam. It was a self-sufficient village containing barracks for the single men and cottages for the married ones, a commissary, mess hall, bath houses, dance halls, a movie theater, church, hospital, and even a primary school for the workers' children. At the height of construction, during the fall of 1929, nearly 1000 men were employed on-site.
Entergy, our electric company who owns Lake Hamilton, kindly donated acreage to the city in 2003 for the development of this park. It features more than two miles of hiking and biking trails, a playground, and a handicapped-accessible fishing boardwalk. There are also picnic facilities with grills and tables so bring the family and spend the day!

To obtain the correct coordinates you will need to find the number of acres Entergy donated to Hot Springs. After finding that number, substitute the first number for the question mark above. You will then have the correct coordinates for the final cache location.
