On the drive north to the cottage, we always knew we were on the home stretch when we started seeing the beautiful Muskoka rocks. These rock formations on Winders Bay Road are an example of the majestic geology in this area. When Nathan was young, he would go on "adventures" through the bush with his grandpa. They would always have a bucket and hammer and come back with rock "treasures".
The cache is about 10m off the road. You do NOT have to scale any rocks! It is rated a 2 terrain because of the underbrush and of course, the bugs when in season!
Please BYOP. The road is wide enough to safely pull over. Apparently the rocks and trees are making GPS reading bounce alot - feel free to message me if you need help.
