Geocache Description:

This geocache is a simple small container hidden in a hollow of the tree trunks.

This spot was our new beginning in Cape Town, a tree where the kids could climb and play, swing on the branches of this huge old Gum Tree. Tea parties, playing cars, just good old fun. One wonders what stories this old tree could tell of days long before this became suburbia? How many kids played here, how many broken hearts cried here, how many people found refuge in this old giant?

To us this was a new playground, a new home, a new beginning....a bit of "farm" in the city, a memory of the farm back in the Free State, S.A.
