Shin'etsusen make connections in the region and in the north station Annaka Takasaki, Annaka Station by taxi, Seongbuk-old to the park, here is the trailhead. Taxis must be booked in advance.
Slope on the east side of the park north of Castle about 10 minutes by taxi from Annaka Station is the trailhead.
Have been developed the way to the summit, reached the top of the mountain in about 40 minutes without any hesitation.
Elevation of "Tenjinyama" is, in topographic maps has become a 318m, 323m and there was the (handwritten) signs summit. The reason is unknown.
Yamana origin: I still have the name of "Tenjinyama" because had been Matsura is Tenjin, "(How) mountain ridge (Get It)" What has been used in conjunction with.
I think that seems to be the predecessor of the Mitake Shrine Tenjin company said it was now in the "Ontake" in Onezutai, so it was a "ridge Tenjindo" and "ridge" What are abbreviated.
Tenjinyama is located in the easternmost ridge of the Hall (Satomi mountain range).

安中駅北域で高崎線と信越線を乗り継いで、安中駅下車タクシーにて、古城北公園へ、ここが登山口です。タクシーは事前予約が必要です。
安中駅からタクシーで10分程の古城北公園の東側にある坂道が登山口となる。
山頂まで道が整備されていて、迷う事も無く40分程で山頂に着く。
「天神山」の標高が、地形図では318ｍとなっていますが、山頂標識（手書き）には323mとありました。理由は不明です。
山名由来： 天神が祀られていたので「天神山」の名が残っていますが、「堂(どう)尾根(おね)山」と併用されています。
尾根伝いにある「御岳山」にある今御岳神社の前身が天神社だったと思われ、「天神堂尾根」が略され「堂尾根」となったと思われます。
天神山は堂尾根（里見連山）の最東端に位置しています。
伝承、伝説、行事等： 山頂に石の天神様が祀られています。
頂上にはパラグライダーの出発できる丘もあります、地元の方のコミュニケーションノートもあります
