Welcome to the Upper section of the Grand River - Caches 1-24 are in fact very near the headwaters and therefore the river is very narrow and quite shallow in spots here. When placed in April 2016, we found the water level to average a few feet deep, but there are some shallow sections that will require you to shuffle along and/or wade. Please note that walking by land to most of these is discouraged as you would be either crossing or be on private land. It is best to stay in/on the river for the mostpart.
