Geocache Description:

Incredible Edible Ashburton is a community group that are planting all the empty spaces around town with vegetables.

These plots are all planted by volunteers and they are looked after by volunteers, The produce from them when harvested is also available for locals to help themselves or is donated to local food banks, like The Salvation Army, Red cross, St Vincent de Paul.

There are a number of these plots around town, and if you have the time to help out a little even by bringing along a water bottle full of water when you visit this cache and water some of the veges, the community would be very much appreciative of it.

This is an awesome idea and since starting has grown hugely from one single plot to now all over town.

They have a facebook page and are always willing to help, we talked to the admins of the facebook page when we considered placing a cache here, they were very helpful and were even interested in finding out about geocaching.

We have placed a small write up/blurb at the garden for some of the volunteers to have a read and maybe join up if they are keen.

This cache could be a little tricky to find so There is a spoiler photo/hint if needed, There is no need to go stepping through the garden to find the cache it can be retrieved from outside the fence.

Cache is small and contains logbook only so BYO pen. No room for swaps
