YOU MUST PARK VEHICLE ON THE ROAD BY THE RED GATE AND WALK IN!!!
Some of our favorite areas in Kansas are the small out of the way spots that we find by accident or in this case, by Geocaching! This is definitely one of those areas!! The views are amazing and the sound of the Falls is so soothing! I could pitch a tent here and stay indefinitely. The sign at the entrance mentions no lifeguard on duty so I assume swimming in the Falls is permitted. I felt the water today and it was still much too cold for that. We will certainly be back during warmer weather and get our toes dippled in the water. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!
So here's the deal on finding the cache.....Find the sign that says Artist's Point and follow it's instructions. You should now be in the best view of the Falls. There will be a tree to the left of you as you are facing the falls. Go to that tree.......
