The land for the Mission to Seafarers Building, at 717 Finders St, Melbourne, was allocated to the Mission in 1915. The building complex was designed by Walter Butler and was built in two stages between 1916 and 1919. The funds to build the complex came from fundraising by the Ladies Harbour Lights Guild (established in 1906), and a government grant. The funds raised by Ladies Harbour Light Guild were primarily generated by regular fêtes, that were held at Norla, the residence of Sir Simon and Lady Fraser in Irving Road, Toorak.
At a fête held in October 1917, £700 was raised for the construction of a gymnasium for seafarers. The Ladies Harbour Light Guild were recognised for their fundraising efforts, with the 17 metre domed gymnasium building named the Norla Dome. Today, the hooks in the roof of the dome are the only remaining evidence of the original gym equipment and now it is used and as a space for corporate and private functions, exhibitions and public events.
The entire complex consists of the St Peter the Mariner Chapel, an extensive clubroom and administration area, the Chaplain’s house, a small cottage, and the
Norla Dome. The historical Mission complex is architecturally significant as being a fine urban example of the Arts and Crafts Style in Melbourne. The complex is open to the public on certain days of the year through the Open House Melbourne program.

The cache
The posted coordinates should bring you to the front door of the Mission to Seafarers on Wurundjeri way. Turn around to face the road and on the low concrete wall in front of you, you will see some black circular light enclosures at about knee height. Count all the enclosures to get a two digit number AB.
Now let C= 2B-A, D = A+B and E = B-2A. The final hide is at South 37° 49.20C East 144° 57.0DE
You will need to cross the road to get to the final cache
**please use the pedestrian crossing at the additional waypoint**
Wurundjeri way is an extremely busy road. Please cross safely.
You are looking for a camouflaged magnetized mint tin, BYO pen. GPS signal may be weak. Remember **muggles can be watching from all directions! Always play safely and be aware of your surroundings!**
