TM-1 Tough Mudder #1: Back to Old School Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Socky P: Greetings Tough Mudders and Tough Mudder hopefuls. Regrettably I have to archive this fun adventure cache. It has missing WPs and due to personal things going on in my life right now I do not have the time to go out and get it back as it should be. I know there were a couple people hunting this one and I will leave the final in it's place, so feel free to join the "archive cache hunters club" and try to get your name on the log somehow. But the TM's rarely get hit these days so it's not practical for me to try to keep it going for so little foot traffic.
Thanks for all the love this cache and this series received. A fellow cacher plans to put out a multi in this area, so it will be reason to come out and enjoy this cool area again.

Socky P aka. Sase Mc-T

Geocache Description:

This is the 1st cache in the Tough Mudder Challenge Series. CLICK HERE to find out more about this challenge. The caches in this series are intended to get you outdoors, having fun, encountering physical challenges, and enjoying different areas. Have fun and enjoy the series.

Old school caching was all about the hike and the location. It wasn't in a lamp-skirt. It wasn't on a stop sign. You planned for at most a couple caches in a day because they were often longer hikes, and people didn't care much about numbers. You often ended up at an ammo can, stocked with tradeables that people traded fairly for, and a logbook that people actually wrote blurbs in. There is something pure about the old school way.

This cache is meant to welcome you to the Tough Mudder Challenge Series, while taking you on a hike in a nice area. Pay attention to the attributes listed. You will find all WPs to be the same type of container leading up to the final.

Please be sure to mention in your log the number you sign in on so I can credit you points during the challenge series. And take note of the Bonus Cache information inside the log book. (See Bonus Cache details on the Socky P Challenge web page.)

Congratulations to BrotherTim for FTF, along with his crew of caching partners.
