DX Station Traditional Cache

DX Station =  a long-distance radio contact

Several members of our Livonia radio club are also into geocaching. We sometimes host a GeoFox hunt, in which teams use radios to locate hidden radio beacons and use their geocaching skills to sniff out day caches. This geocache was placed on the occasion of our second such endeavor.

This geocache is located in a Livonia park which was once a schoolground. It's open between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.  There is plenty of parking space right next to the cache.

If you happen to be nearby on Field Day, you might see people of different ages from different radio clubs in a 24-hour mad dash to contact as many radio stations as they can from every country in the world!

Four-legged geocachers are welcome but should be on a leash.

This is a moderately-high-traffic area, so keep a good eye out for observers.

Please bring your own writing implement, and make sure the cap is secured before returning the cache to its proper location.
